Prior to joining the Premier Planning Group, Ryan worked as a Financial Advisor with Legg Mason in Baltimore. He has earned his NASD Series 7 & 66 Licenses as well as his Maryland Insurance Licenses. Ryan successfully achieved the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) designation in 2002 and is currently working towards the Certified Financial Planner designation. He graduated with a degree in finance from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland in College Park.

Ryan lives in Annapolis with his wife Carrie and daughter Caroline. They enjoy boating, cooking, and traveling to new places. Ryan is a past board member of the Severna Park Jaycees and in 2004 was presented with the Brownfield Award and Gary Mansperger Memorial Award for outstanding service to the community. He is currently active in the Rotary Club of Annapolis and the Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce.
